About Us

The Pfeiffer Law Firm, PLLC, founded in 2015 by William Pfeiffer, is a specialized legal and financial planning services firm that focuses on the specific needs of the elderly and individuals with special needs.

Bill Pfeiffer has been advising clients since 1995, first as a staff attorney and partner at AYCO/Goldman Sachs, then in private practice with a local, well-known law firm.

Elder law attorneys are advocates for the elderly and their loved ones. At Pfeiffer Law, we work with our clients on important legal and financial matters which affect older or disabled people. We are broad-based in our knowledge of elder law and planning for issues related to health care, long term care planning, guardianship, retirement, Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, and other important matters.

Medicaid

Government benefits including Medicaid are complex and constantly changing. Studies show that a person at age 65 faces a 40 percent chance that they will require long term care services at some point during their lifetime.

We can assist you with determining what options are best for you and your family. We examine your eligibility of these benefits and determine the optimum time for filing Medicaid applications, as well as implementing strategies to protect assets both before and after the application is filed. We also consider the merits of long term care insurance and your eligibility for Veteran’s benefits as a means for paying for long term care expenses. The key to successful long term care planning is to act now.
