About Us

The Pfeiffer Law Firm, PLLC, founded in 2015 by William Pfeiffer, is a specialized legal and financial planning services firm that focuses on the specific needs of the elderly and individuals with special needs.

Bill Pfeiffer has been advising clients since 1995, first as a staff attorney and partner at AYCO/Goldman Sachs, then in private practice with a local, well-known law firm.

Elder law attorneys are advocates for the elderly and their loved ones. At Pfeiffer Law, we work with our clients on important legal and financial matters which affect older or disabled people. We are broad-based in our knowledge of elder law and planning for issues related to health care, long term care planning, guardianship, retirement, Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, and other important matters.

Business Planning

We advise clients regarding the selection and formation of entities for the execution of their business models. This may include sole proprietorship, partnerships, Limited Liability Companies (LLC), subchapter S corporations and C corporations. We work closely with accountants to maximize tax planning opportunities on personal and entity levels. We also look to protect the business owners from any unnecessary assumption of liability. For established business organizations, we review buy-sell agreements and shareholder agreements in contemplation of retirement, death and disability of the owner(s). One of the greatest accomplishments for any business is to transfer the ownership and control of the organization from the founding generation to their children and grandchildren. We help clients preserve and protect this legacy. We also work to protect the value of the business for surviving spouses and future generations that do not desire to follow in the founders’ footsteps.
