Bill obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Georgetown University. He then earned his juris doctor law degree from Albany Law School.  In addition to passing the Bar Examination, Bill has successfully passed all four sections of the Certified Public Accountancy Examination.

After graduating law school, Bill went to work for The Ayco Company as a Staff Attorney where he developed and implemented tax-saving strategies for businesses and individuals in a wide variety of tax and tax-related areas. He also obtained investment and insurance licenses in order to advise clients on many financial planning issues including asset allocation, cash flow analysis and risk management. A primary focus for clients was estate planning to reduce or eliminate prospective estate and gift taxes. Eventually Bill was named a partner of the company.

After thirteen years with Ayco, Bill entered private practice with focus on trusts and estates for individuals. He  established his own law office in 2015.

Bill is a member and director of the Estate Planning Council, an interdisciplinary organization for lawyers, accountants, financial planners and other professionals involved in estate planning.  He is an active member and member of the Executive Committee of the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar Association and participates in the Bar’s Trust and Estates section.
